Conference Registration
Please read the registration instructions carefully before completing your registration for IECON 2026. The conference will be organized in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or online.
Important Notice
For accepted papers, at least one full registration is required for the paper to be presented
and included in the conference proceedings, regardless of whether the presentation is in person or online.

Author Registration Rules
Please carefully review the author registration requirements below.
1) A full registration is required for an accepted paper to be presented and included in the proceedings.
2) Student registration does not count as full registration for paper inclusion.
3) Each full registration can cover a maximum of one paper.
4) Each additional paper requires a fee of USD 250, up to a maximum of two additional papers.
5) The page limit for an accepted paper is 6 pages.
6) Up to 2 additional pages are allowed, at USD 150 per page.
7) A paper may have a maximum of 8 pages, including additional pages.
8) During registration, authors must provide their paper title or paper ID.
9) Author payment, final PDF upload, and eCopyright submission must all be completed. Otherwise, the paper will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Online Attendance & Presentation
For Online Participants
- Participants may choose to attend the conference online.
- Access details for the virtual platform will be shared before the conference.
- Registered attendees will receive comprehensive technical guidelines and participation instructions.
- All online sessions will follow Qatar time (GMT+3); participants are kindly requested to plan accordingly.
- All in-person sessions will be live-streamed, enabling virtual attendees to join keynotes, panel discussions, technical sessions, and other conference activities.
For Online Presenters
- Authors presenting online must comply with the conference presentation guidelines.
- Presentations may be required in live or pre-recorded format, as specified by the organizers.
- Papers presented online will be included in the proceedings provided that all registration and final submission requirements are satisfied.
- At least one full registration is required per accepted paper, regardless of presentation mode.
Early Bird & Member Rates
Authors who complete their payment by August 1, 2026 will benefit from the Early Bird Registration rate. Please refer to the registration fee table for detailed information regarding full registration, student registration, IEEE IES member rates, IEEE member rates, and online participation categories.
Cancellation Policy
Refund Requests
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
- Refund requests must be received no later than September 10, 2026.
- Requests received after this date will not be accepted.
- No refunds will be issued after September 10, 2026.
- A USD 150 cancellation fee will be deducted from each approved refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed after the conference has ended.
- All cancellation and refund requests should be sent to info@iecon2026.org.
Registration Transfer (Name Change) Policy
- Registration name changes are allowed without cancellation.
- The conference secretariat must be informed before September 20, 2026.
- All registration transfer (name change) requests should be sent to info@iecon2026.org.
