Journal Paper Presentation Track

Post-IES Journal Papers – Not Included in Proceedings. IECON 2026 is pleased to introduce a Journal Paper Presentation Track, offering authors of recently published or accepted Industrial Electronics Society (IES) journal papers the opportunity to present their work at the conference. This initiative strengthens the synergy between IEEE IES journals and conferences, enhances knowledge dissemination, and provides additional visibility to high-quality research.

No IEEE Xplore These presentations will NOT be included in the conference proceedings and will NOT be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Important Dates

Expression of Interest Submission June 15, 2026
Acceptance Notification July 15, 2026
Registration Deadline August 15, 2026

Scope

Authors of journal papers that:

  • Have been published or officially accepted in an IEEE IES journal
  • Were accepted or published within the past 18 months
  • Fall within the technical scope of IECON 2026

are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) for presentation at the conference.

Important Notes

Presentation Format

  • Presented in dedicated or topical ORAL sessions
  • Clearly marked in the program as Post-Journal Papers

Publication & Review

  • NOT included in proceedings
  • NOT submitted to IEEE Xplore
  • No additional peer review by the conference
  • Acceptance decided by TPC based on relevance

Submission Process

Interested authors should submit an Expression of Interest through the submission system, including:

Paper title
Author list
Abstract
Journal name
Publication details (volume/issue/pages if available)
DOI (if published)
Proof of acceptance (if not yet published)

Registration Policy

Each presented journal paper requires conference registration in accordance with IECON 2026 registration policies.

If an author has both a regular conference paper and a journal presentation, standard registration limits apply.

Compliance

This initiative is fully compliant with IEEE policies. Journal papers remain unchanged and are not republished in any form.
